Abril Trujillo

After surviving a near fatal car crash, many rotations around the sun ago, yoga has been a fundamental element in my healing process. The grace of God, yoga and acupuncture are the reasons I can walk. I am blessed with two wonderful adult children who inspire me to grow in love daily. I love to dance, swim and read. I have practiced yoga on the Pacific and Atlantic Coasts as well as the Gulf of Mexico, because everywhere I go, yoga goes with me. If there is something I can inspire in my students, it would be the knowledge that healing is possible and most importantly: all bodies are yoga bodies.

Abril is a RYT-200 Teaching Wednesday Mornings at 5:30am!

Abril also offers Private Yoga sessions at Elevation.

Angela Blair

Angela was intrigued with the idea of hot yoga and in 2011 she purchased a groupon for her and her son.  She was totally taken by hot yoga.  In September 2012 Angela completed her 200 hour RYT training with Sacred Hot yoga. Angela loves watching as people find the connection between their body, their breath and their soul.  She believes that yoga is for everyone and every body type ie: short, tall, big, little, strong, weak, flexible, and inflexible and she encourages her students to go where their body is able to go in that moment – every posture, in every movement can be modified.

Angela hopes that all that come to her class feel loved, supported, and safe to be themselves.

Angela is a Reiki Master and a  E-RYT200, currently offering specialty classes at Elevation as well as private Reiki sessions!

Beate Roybal

Beate Roybal first found yoga during her pursuit to become healthier. Her daughter who was an avid yogi convinced her to give it a try and it didn't take long before she was hooked ! A rapidly increasing passion for yoga drove Beate to try different forms and styles of yoga, eventually leading to a teacher training class. Excited yet nervous she jumped at the chance to broaden her perspective of yoga, not with the idea of teaching but with an open mind and an open heart. With her RYS-200 curriculum certificate in hand she completed the course at elevate yoga teacher training. Shortly after, Beate received an offer to teach the free community class at Elevation Yoga. It was here at the free community class Beate really found her passion to teach yoga. Since then, being able to help people find what's right for each individuals body has remained her main focus, along with making it easy for people of all skill levels to enjoy her class. Felicia Otto

Hello my name is Felicia. I am an Ojibwe native from Michigan. I am a mother to four beautiful children and love to show them the importance of exercise. I started yoga and December 2013 and immediately fell in love with the physical and mental benefits of it. I hope to bring the love, stress relief, and healthy benefits to others. I love that yoga is for anyone because it has so many levels. I started my YTT 200 in January at Elevation Yoga and Wellness Center. I absolutely loved my training and am excited for the journey of growing into the best teacher I can be.

Kevin Arnold

After suffering a spinal injury in a snowboarding accident and not progressing toward recovery in the western medical realm, Kevin was willing to try anything to regain his life and mobility. The real healing began when his mother convinced him to join her at the yoga studio. In that single yoga class, Kevin realized that his muscles were so tight and his entire body was so out of alignment that he couldn't really heal until he released all the tension that was built up from the injury. After the first yoga class, he says he felt immediate relief and became a regular at the yoga studio.

Kevin went from being unable to get out of a chair to being back on his snowboard the next season. Since that first day in 2009, Kevin has been developing his practice and never looked back. He received his 200RYT Yoga Teacher Training from Siddhi Yoga International in India.

In Kevin's classes, you can expect creative and dynamic sequences, functional movements, and fun and challenging transitions. You can also expect to dive into yogic philosophy, different breathing techniques, and meditation, all within a one-hour session.

When not teaching yoga, Kevin is outside rock climbing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and enjoying the great outdoors.

Kevin is a Ryt-200 and teaches on Tuesdays at 7:00am, Fridays at 8:15pm and Sundays at 10:30am at Elevation!

Maria Simon

Maria Simon started her journey of yoga by taking a few yoga classes in her teens. She felt it was a useful holistic tool for coping with anxiety. She continued practicing on and off for the next few years and became more serious about it in 2013 when she decided on a whim to sign up for her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Robin Appel through the Always at Aum yoga school. Maria soon learned how passionate she was about the health and wellness field and immediately signed up to continue her yoga education in the Always at Aum 300-hour yoga teacher training program. She is currently studying Ayurveda (the science of life) and working towards becoming an Ayurvedic health practitioner. She believes that healing through the body is the most practical way to treat oneself.

Michelle Mather

My name-Michelle, my objective- to share yoga with as many people as possible. I started my journey with Yoga in the early 2000’s as form of fitness. It wasn’t however until about 2013 when I took my 1st hot yoga class that I fall completely in love with it. Becoming an instructor had never really crossed my mind, until I was working on my business degree and talking about our passions and what we wanted in the future; yoga was always my go to topic, my instructor asked if I thought about becoming an instructor and a light went off. Of course, I should become an instructor, I loved the idea of sharing my passion with others. Fast forward to the beginning of what I will say has been the best year for me in a really long time 2018, I enrolled and completed my 200hrYTT program at Elevation Yoga and Wellness. Doing so has transcended my passion for yoga two-fold. I learned so much and I’m excited to share my enthusiasm for the practice with EVERYONE. For me yoga is more then just postures/poses, it’s freedom, love, peace of mind, awareness and so much more. Peace love and Namaste.

Rhonda Moya

I began practicing yoga 13 years ago when I was going through a difficult time in my life. At that time, I was also raising five children and dealing with the stress of my job as a first responder. I really needed to focus on my mental health. I purchased a trial membership at a hot yoga studio for $20. I hated my first class. It was hot, difficult, and sweaty. I was not going back! That night, I slept through the night for the first time in a very long time. I decided to go back the next day and see if it was just a coincidence. Again, I slept through the night. I still hated it but continued going. Practice got easier, I lost 30 lbs, and I began to love it! Yoga has helped me live a healthier life both mentally and physically. A couple of years ago everything aligned and I was able to attend yoga teacher training. I now teach at Elevation, and volunteer at both Behind the Badge and the Sheriff's Academy. I am grateful to have found this healing modality and honored to share it.
